This is to minimize the aerosol and droplet spray. These shields are sanitised after every patient.

N95 MASK

If and when available, these are the preferred masks to wear.

GOWNS / APRONS

These are disposed of after each patient. This assists in preventing the aerosol and droplet spread.

Additional time has been set aside after each patient to ensure proper sanitising and disinfection of the surgery.

Even though this is and has been standard practice pre-Covid-19, we want ensure our patients that their health and safety is our priority.

Until such a time that we have more information on the guidelines of Covid-19, screenings of patients (including infrared thermometer readings) will be taken at reception before each appointment. We will require ongoing completion of patient consent forms for treatment during the pandemic.
