Prior to your first visit at our rooms, one of our receptionists will answer any questions you may have regarding our practice and help you schedule your appointment with both the dental surgeon and the oral hygienist.
Upon your first visit, you will be greeted by our reception staff, who, in turn will inform the relevant team member that you have arrived. We will do our best to make your wait as short as possible.
One of the dentists will then perform a full mouth oral examination which may include a head and neck examination, cancer screening, full mouth digital radiography with Orthophos XG 3D scanning if required, clinical photographs, study models, periodontal screening and caries detection.
If you have scheduled your hygiene appointment on the same day it will follow directly after your consultation. Your hygienist will perform a scaling and debridement of your teeth and gum tissue as well as a full mouth polishing . Your oral hygiene program will be tailored to your specific needs and any guidance and instructions that you might need will be also be outlined.
Complex cases will require a second visit at which we will present your treatment plan for your specific case with the different treatment options together with the estimated costs for the treatment. From there our reception staff will then co-ordinate your appointments and answer any questions you may have regarding payment options.
